
A bomb and arson team have been sent to respond to a National City retirement community, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department (SDSO) said.
The team responded to the 2700 block of 4th Street sometime before noon Thursday. All roads in the immediate area were shut down in wake of the response. They were reopened by 5 p.m.
Details on what led up to the call were not immediately available. No injuries have been reported in connection to the scene.
