Best Local Pools to Get a Day Pass This Summer

Don't have a pool at home? Check out these family-friendly spots that you can buy a one-day pass for

It’s summer in San Diego and we know you want to cool off by the pool. We’re going all over the county to show you the best places to get a day pass.    

Tierrasanta Community Pool 

Located on Clairemont Mesa Blvd, this pool is a good place to teach children how to swim. It has a playground that kids can play at after they dry off, as well as a water-playground near the pool. 

It's affordable at $4 for adults and $2 for kids. There’s also a similar community pool in Carmel Valley. 

Manchester Grand Hyatt in the Gaslamp District 

This luxurious downtown San Diego location offers a day pass to use the pool for $15 a person. It's based on availability so make sure to check online ahead of time. 

It has kid-friendly and adult-only pools. The pass allows guests access to the gym, shower room and spa as well. 

The Ned Baumer Aquatic Center in Miramar 

A great place to bring the kids for the right price. Tickets will run you $4 for adults and just $2 for children.

They have a kiddie-pool, and fun water-related games for the youngsters. 

The Viejas Casino and Resort in Alpine 

For those in East County, the Viejas Resort has a day pass for $25. You get access to two pools, the hot tub, and the fitness center.

One of the pools is open to all ages the other is adults only. 

Park Hyatt Aviara Resort in Carlsbad 

Back to bougie, those in North County can cool off at this 5-star resort. Passes start at $25 for kids and $40 for adults.

With it, you'll get entry to the family pool, jacuzzis, plus the poolside bar and grill.
