The Bay Club Co. of San Francisco has completed a $3.2 million renovation of its Bay Club Carmel Valley fitness and spa venue, at 12000 Carmel Country Road.
A statement from San Diego-based general contractor Pacific Building Group said additions to the property included new conference facilities and 77 Social Club, a gym-adjacent outdoor pavilion for gathering and entertaining. The work also included adding new spas, a bocce ball court, fire pits, landscaping, concrete work and a trellis with a sound system, heating and wireless internet.
The 87,000-square-foot facility now has eight outdoor tennis courts, three swimming pools and a 15,000-square-foot fitness center.
According to its website, Bay Club Co. is an active lifestyle and hospitality company founded in 1977. It operates 24 family-oriented, resort-style country clubs throughout California, with amenities including meeting and social spaces, golf courses and athletic facilities.
