Armed Suspect Holds up Arco AM/PM Gas Station in Lemon Grove

 A suspect with a firearm held up an Arco AM/PM gas station in Lemon Grove late Saturday. 

The armed robbery happened at 9 p.m. when Sheriff's deputies from the Lemon Grove substation responded to the gas station on the 2700 block of Lemon Grove Avenue. 

The suspect, armed with a firearm, drove off in a car before deputies arrived. The car was described as a white Sedan, potentially a Buick, last seen driving northbound on Lemon Grove Avenue toward State Route 94. 

No injuries were reported during the robbery. Deputies said they did not have an exact loss reported yet. 

The suspect is described as a 5 feet 8 inch tall man in his 40s with short black hair, last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans.
