FIFA, soccer's governing body, is about to take its scheduled international break. This is the time when national teams get together for training and a few friendlies
Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles will be well-represented at the international level. Xolos forward (and Chula Vista native) Paul Arriola, fullback Gregory Garza, and defender John Requejo have been called to their respective United States National Team squads.
Garza will be part of U.S. National coach Jurguen Klinsmann’s team that will play in friendlies against Denmark and Switzerland. Arriola and Requejo are also headed to Europe to be part of the U.S. Under-20 camp in England, preparing for the 2015 FIFA Under-20 World Cup in New Zealand.
