A worker is recovering after falling about eight feet into a ditch in Paradise Hills on Monday afternoon.
The accident happened at Childs Avenue and Manos Drive around 3.10 p.m.
Surface dirt may have fallen into the trench while the worker was in it, which knocked him to his knees, firefighters said.
The worker suffered leg injures but never lost consciousness, firefighters said.
He was airlifted to a hospital.
