A woman with a hammer robbed a Southcrest bookstore Tuesday afternoon, confirmed police.
The incident occurred at 2:48 p.m. on the 1400 block of S 43rd Street near Gamma Street, said SDPD officers.
Police said the woman entered the Libreria Montesion bookstore, threatened the clerk with a hammer and made a demand.
She then ran away from the store.
It is unknown what was stolen.
The suspect was described as 17 to 18-years-old, weighing around 130 pounds with black hair that was tied back in a ponytail. She was wearing a black hoodie and black pants.
