A man was stabbed in the back by a woman armed with a knife in Logan Heights, police said.
According to officials, the incident happened around 7 p.m. Thursday in the 3300 block of Oceanview Drive.
Police said a 28-year-old black male drove up to a 21-year-old black female and got out of his car. The two got into a verbal altercation and during the argument, the woman allegedly yelled, “I’m going to kill you!” according to police.
She then took out a knife and stabbed the man in the back. He sustained a non-life threatening wound to his lung and was taken to a hospital.
Police said the woman fled the scene after the stabbing. She’s described as 5-foot-6 with a thin build, brown hair and brown eyes.
