Woman Injured in Drive-By Robbery



    A woman was injured Monday evening as two suspects took her purse from their moving car in a Grossmont Center parking lot.

    The woman was walking through the parking lot near Fudruckers with her children at about 6:30 p.m. Monday when a man leaned out the window of a car and grabbed her purse, La Mesa police said.

    The woman was dragged momentarily on the ground before releasing her purse. She was transported to the hospital with a wrist injury.

    The two suspects managed to drive off with her belongings, including her cell phone and keys.

    Police searched the area for the suspects, described as between the ages of 18 and 20. They were driving a 90s model, tan two-door Saturn.
