A 28-year-old woman leaving a bar was struck by a suspected drunken driver and is fighting for her life today.
The woman crossing Broadway about 2 a.m. outside the Club Star Gazer when she was hit, said Chula Vista police Lt. Dan Linney.
The victim was taken to a local hospital where is listed in critical condition with severe head injuries, Linney said.
The driver, a 26-year-old woman, was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving, he said.
