Woman Delivering Meals Killed By Her Vehicle

The Ramona woman died in Pine Valley, and the CHP is investigating the incident

A 59-year-old Ramona woman who worked as a meal delivery driver was pronounced dead Tuesday after being found wedged between her vehicle and a fence post, the county medical examiner's office said.

The North County Times reported that Sharon Marice Clanton was delivering meals to residents in Pine Valley when she was found at 18 Via Road in Pine Valley.

Medics were unable to revive her, the office said. Clanton was pronounced dead at 2:37 p.m.
