A woman allegedly cut a man from ear to chin with a kitchen knife Thursday afternoon.
The 50-year-old female suspect cut the man at 3 p.m. at an apartment on 3400 Ruffin Rd. in Serra Mesa, according to a San Diego Police Department report.
The wound is not considered life threatening, but the male victim did report the crime to police.
The SDPD Domestic Violence Unit has taken over the case and is investigating.
