What's a 4th of July Picnic Without Fireworks?

The show will go on, but it will be one without fireworks this year.

The city of Oceanside announced Thursday that it will host the city's annual Fourth of July celebration but because of financial constraints, there will be no fireworks.

Close to 200,000 are estimated to take part in the event, visiting the beach and the downtown areas of Oceanside, according to a news release.

Don't think you'll be able to "make your own" fireworks display, Oceanside police officers will be looking to confiscate all illegal fireworks.

Here are a few other "don'ts" - no smoking, no drinking in public, no dogs on the beach, no bicycles, no tents and no skateboards on the public streets.

What's left? You tell us. Happy Independence Day.
