Emergency crews with the City of San Diego are working to repair a water line, after a 42-inch diameter water transmission line broke in University City.
The water line broke Sunday about 10 p.m. on Greenwich Drive, near Governor Drive, creating a huge geyser that drenched a nearby parking lot.
A water department spokesperson told NBC 7 it was his understanding no one was without water service.
Crews are working on a plan to redirect water from an alternative pipeline, and are expected to be working on the water line for most of the day.
