While that helps recruiting, appearing in a national TV ad on a popular college football show would be even bigger.

Now you can help make it happen

SDSU has been asked to participate in the ESPN College GameDay Fan Vote contest. ESPN will come to the winning campus to film a commercial for the network’s popular college football pregame show.

The contest begins April 23 and runs through May 2. Fans will be allowed to vote once a day for their university.

Fans can vote via GameDayVote.com, on Facebook at Facebook.com/collegegameday, and on Twitter at @CollegeGameDay by using #GameDayVote.

The ad will run this fall on the ESPN family of networks.
