Ever been to an early bird sale? Well it’s nothing like Sunday’s early bird WICKED ticket sales at the San Diego Civic Theatre ticket office.
A dedicated La Mesa woman lined up at 9 p.m. the night before the box office opened, she bought a pack of 4 tickets to see the show. About 150 other hardcore fans were in line by Sunday at 5 a.m., all hoping to see the popular story of the witches of Oz.
Once the ticket office opened by 7 a.m. about 300 line-holders were treated to music, food by St. Tropez Bakery, WICKED going green bags for the first 100 people and even cash prizes by KyXy 96.5FM and Sophie 103.7FM.
WICKED tickets are still available at the box office and at TicketMaster outlets.
