A driver lost control of his car Tuesday and crashed into a Vista car dealership.
An Acura Integra was speeding along eastbound State Route 78 moments before the crash just before 2 a.m. on Hacienda Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The driver took out a section of fence along the highway and ended up in the back parking lot of the BMW dealership, CHP officers said.
The driver was thrown from the car and landed in the lot as well. He was conscious and speaking to emergency personnel before they transported him to Palomar Hospital.
CHP officers said the car rolled several times and damaged at least one car on the lot.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence according to Sgt. Curtis Martin.
