‘Very Nice' Forecast in Place for Independence Day

San Diegans will wake up to clouds Monday but there will be a clearing out mid-morning to unveil mostly sunny skies.

Temperatures along the coast are expected to reach a high of 72 degrees with a high of 82 degrees inland.

NBC 7 Meteorologist Jodi Kodesh predicts it will be "a beautifully warm day."

On Tuesday, Independence Day crowds will see patchy fog before 11 a.m. but conditions will gradually clear once again. The afternoon will be mostly sunny, with a high near 74 in downtown San Diego.
