Verizon Store Robbed at Gunpoint: SDPD

A Verizon store was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday night, San Diego Police Department (SDPD) confirmed. 

The incident happened around 8:54 p.m. on the 2400 block of Truxton Road near Rosecrans Street.

SDPD Lt. Daniel Smyth says two men wearing hoodies and bandanas robbed the store. One of the suspects had a gun.

The suspects forced the store employees to go the back room. They then stole phones and took off.

Smyth says there is surveillance video but they do not have access to it yet.

No other information was immediately available.
