Police feared a pedestrian suffered a head injury after being hit by a vehicle in the Clairemont area Tuesday evening.
The crash happened in the 6300 block of Balboa Avenue just before 6:30 p.m. San Diego police say the car hit the pedestrian's head hard, so they were expecting serious injuries.
However, when doctors performed tests on the victim, they found no brain trauma. The person will need to be monitored in the days to come.
The driver stopped to check on the victim, and there's no sign of DUI, police say.
