Flames devoured a 6500-square-foot upscale house Saturday night and investigators were on scene on Sunday trying to figure out what sparked it.
The upscale Eastlake home on Woods Drive was under construction when the fire tore through the exposed wood frame around 10:20 p.m.
Firefighters battled to make sure the flames didn’t spread to any other homes, the fire chief said it took about a half-hour to extinguish the flames.
“ Because of the collapse potential crews were on hand throughout the night to make sure any hot spots were addressed,” Fire Chief Dave Hanneman said.
No one was hurt, the cause of the fire was not immediately known
