Truck Could Provide Clues in TJ Teen Slaying

California authorities are looking for a missing pickup truck used by a 19-year-old Anaheim deliveryman who was found stabbed to death on a beach in Tijuana, Mexico.

Authorities say Shane Pennington's body was found March 24 at Playas de Tijuana.  He was last seen on March 21 by his Anaheim employer, A Cut Above Seafood, when he asked to take a company delivery truck home.

"It's very unusual," said Pennington's manager Denny Boan. "This kid just wouldn't on a whim go to Tijuana on a Sunday afternoon."

Pennington was originally from North Carolina.  His mother says that no one can tell her why her son was in Mexico or when police will release his body for burial, according to WGHP-TV.

Mexican authorities are working with San Diego police to solve the case.

The missing truck is a silver 2004 Ford Ranger with the license plate number 8E28590. It has an attached freezer bed and is stamped with the Cut Above logo.
