A section of railroad track is back open after it was closed for hours when an Amtrak train slammed into a pickup truck.
The truck veered off the road at Morena Boulevard and Ariane Drive and ended up on the train tracks according to San Diego police.
The people inside the truck got out before it was hit by the Surfliner - on its way to Los Angeles.
The two people in the truck were not injured. The 97 people on the train also were not hurt.
