A 1-year-old boy fell from a a second story window Friday afternoon and hit the ground below, according to Rancho Santa Fe Fire Department.
Firefighters responded to the incident at the 9000 block of Deer Trail Drive in 4S Ranch. When they arrived on the scene, the firefighters found the 20-month-old boy and began administering aid. T
The fire department called for a Mercy Air helicopter, which transported the boy to Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego. The boy was reportedly in fair condition.
There is no word about the boy's injuries.
