A woman's response to a Craigslist ad results in a sexual assault investigation.
The incident began when a woman replied to a Craigslist ad that asked for a female to "party" with, according to the San Diego police. The woman said she went to the man's house in Del Mar Heights and drank alcohol with him, then fell asleep. She said the next thing she knew, who woke up and was being raped.
The woman told police that the man gave her a check for her time and that she tried to cash it the next day but the check bounced.
Officers said they are still investigating the case.
