At least three people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision in Escondido Wednesday night, according to officials.
The crash happened around 8:45 p.m. at North Broadway and West Country Club Lane.
Police said the accident involved one vehicle that rolled over and another that was smoking at the scene. No further details were immediately available.
At least one person was trapped following the crash, but was extracted by rescue crews.
Officials reported at least three patients at the scene, who were transported to Palomar Medical Center for treatment.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
