The Home Depot is looking to hire 900 employees across San Diego County locations in advance of spring, the home improvement retailer’s busiest selling season.
The company announced it plans to hire 80,000 associates nationwide – from sales and cashiers to operations and online fulfillment positions.
Job opportunities – including the nearly 1,000 Home Depot positions in San Diego – include both permanent part-time and seasonal positions in stores and distribution centers. Available positions vary by store.
Home Depot says college students, retirees and U.S. veterans are encouraged to apply.

The Home Depot currently operates nearly 2,300 stores across the U.S., the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, 10 Canadian provinces and Mexico. The company employs more than 370,000 associates.
In San Diego, there are nearly two dozen Home Depot locations, including Sports Arena, Chula Vista, Otay Mesa, Lemon Grove, Santee and El Cajon, to name a few.
