A La Mesa teenager arrested and accused of killing a cab driver in Lemon Grove over the weekend is scheduled to appear in court.
Demetrius Sissac, 19, was arrested Wednesday afternoon on a charge of first-degree murder in the death of cab driver Jalaludin Hamrah.
Hamrah was found inside a taxi that had rolled over on Main Street just before 4 a.m. Sunday.
A deputy spotted the vehicle, called paramedics and soon realized Hamrah had suffered a bullet wound in his upper body.
Hamrah, who was from Afghanistan, worked in the El Cajon and Lakeside areas for Main Cab Company.
Sissac was held overnight without bail in the San Diego Central jail.
