Suspicious Package Forces United Airlines Cargo Terminal To Close

A suspicious package found at Lindbergh Field causes the freight & cargo terminal to close

According to the Lindbergh Field Airport manager, the United Airlines Cargo area of Lindbergh Field is temporarily shut down while a suspicious package found in the terminal is inspected.

The San Diego Fire Department said a K-9 Officer at the Lindbergh Field freight terminal has asked for a Bomb/Arson Team to respond.

The only area affected is the United Airlines Cargo area. All other cargo areas are operating regularly. Employees in the United Airlines area have been evacuated while the package is inspected. No passenger flights have been affected.
