Oceanside police need the public’s help finding three men who brutally attacked a convenience store clerk last month.

The suspects were caught on surveillance cameras as they entered the AM/PM store at 1990 Oceanside Boulevard at 2:40 a.m. on Nov. 26.

As one of the men made his way to a cooler and began grabbing cans of beer, another walked behind the counter and “sucker-punched” the clerk, who police say was distracted.

Video shows the second and third suspects kicking and beating the victim as he fell helplessly to the ground, officials say. Blood is left on the ground as the suspects step away.

One of the men is then seen grabbing items from behind the counter as they run off.

The first suspect is described as a light-skinned man between 18 to 20 years old. The second is a dark-skinned man between 18 and 20, police say, and the third is another dark-skinned man between 18 and 22.

If you recognize these men, call Oceanside police at 760-435-4572.
