Four people were sent to the hospital as the result of a head-on collision in Dehesa late Thursday night.
The crash oh Dehesa Road just south of Sycuan Casino happened just before midnight when a woman driving a BMW crashed into a minivan with three children and their mother, said Mike Mohler with Cal Fire.
Mohler said the woman driving the BMW is suspected of driving under the influence. She was transported to Sharp Hospital.
The three children, including one young child, were also taken to the hospital.
Investigators believe the woman in the BMW crossed over into oncoming traffic and crashed into the mini-van.
It took rescue crews over 45 minutes to take the roof off her car and extricate the woman, who was trapped inside.
