Poway High School is mourning the death of yet another student.
Tyler Peterson, a senior, died Wednesday morning while getting ready for school. The cause of death has yet to be determined.
Tyler was well liked by both students and teachers, Principal Scott Fisher said in a statement. His goal was to work with young people by coaching a youth basketball team for his senior project.
It has been a tragic couple of years for Poway High School. Earlier this year Poway High student Chelsea King was murdered while running near Lake Hodges.
A Poway High School cheerleader, 17-year-old Veronica Aguirre, also died in a suspected drunk driving crash in 2009.
