Stolen Credit Cards Used in Pricy Shopping Spree

Suspect allegedly took cards from parked car in Poway

An unidentified man stole two credit cards from a parked car in Poway this month and went on a nearly $6,000 shopping spree across four stores in the northern San Diego area, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Poway Station.

On July 10, the suspect allegedly used the cards, taken from a wallet on July 9 on the 17000 block of Edina Court, at stores in Carlsbad, Encinitas, San Marcos and Temecula.

A surveillance camera at one of the stores captured photographs of the suspect, described as bald, heavy, and between the ages of 30-45.
