The state garage sale turned out to be a huge success.
So far the tally is up to $1.6 million which is more than organizers expected to make.
Attendance at the sale was better than expected as well. The total number for both days was close to 8,000.
The sale ended at a noon Saturday.
Bargain hunters flooded the huge ware house before closing time, looking for a great deal.
Some people waited in the checkout line for more than two hours.
