Spot Fires Near SR-125 Cause Traffic Congestion

Several small spot fires on the side of northbound State Route (SR) 125 between Spring Street and Lemon Avenue are causing traffic congestion, Heartland Fire confirmed. 

A traffic advisory has been issued by California Highway Patrol on SR-125 south of Spring Street where the number three lane is blocked. 

Crews are at the scene working to extinguish the fires. They started around 12:48 p.m. 

No injuries have been reported. The cause has not yet been determined. 

At 1:21 p.m. Heartland Fire recommended people avoid the area for at least an hour. 

No other information was immediately available.
