The Friday morning commute in San Marcos might be a little tight.
Crews are working to repair a broken water main on South Twin Oaks Valley Road near Cal State San Marcos that burst just before 5 p.m. Thursday.
The road is shut down in both directions between East Barham Drive and Craven Road until further notice.
The city of San Marcos said motorists should expect delays and detours for several days.
The Vallecitos Water District says it appears no customers are without water at this time.
