Someone's Grabbing at Coeds at UCSD

San Diego police officers are issuing a warning to UCSD Students after three women reported being groped while walking on campus.

Police received their first report from a woman who was walking through the eucalyptus grove near the Student Health Center
on Monday about 6:00 PM.

Two other women reported similar cases, one walking to the Mandeville Bus Stop from Solis Hall, and another
 walking to McGill Hall.

In all three cases police say the women were grabbed in the rear in in some cases, their private parts. The suspect ran away after each time according to investigators.

"On college campuses you run into this kind of thing," said UCSD Staff member Dawn Adin.  "Unfortunately, there's lots of young girls, lots of oppotunity for people to do things. It's a sad situation."

The suspect is described as between 19 and 25 years old. He has an average build and he stands between 5'6" and 5'8" and weighs between 140 and 150 pounds. His race is unknown. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and baggy jeans in each incident, according to witness accounts.
