Small Quake Rattles Baja Region

A 4.2 magnitude earthquake was reported Tuesday afternoon in the Baja region, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

According to USGS, the earthquake was centered in the Baja California region, 46 miles from Tijuana at 4:30 p.m.

The shakes were felt throughout the county as some locals took to Twitter to ask other if they had felt it.

A second, much smaller, 2.1 magnitude quake was reported in the Ensenada area a little over 20 minutes later.
