Slightly Warmer Weather Headed Our Way

Sunday is going to start off with less marine layer, thanks to expanding high pressure from the east.

While this will bring us a few more degrees of warmth it could also make things a bit sticky this afternoon.

We're expecting some of that monsoonal moisture to push up from Mexico during the day. That should help firefighters battling the Eagle Fire out near Warner Springs.

It could also make things a little muggy for the rest of us today and tomorrow and bring a small chance of isolated showers or thunderstorms to our mountains.

Highs this afternoon will hit the mid 70s at the coast, mid 80s inland.

It should be a degree or two warmer tomorrow, then drop a couple degrees midweek then move back to the warmer side by Friday as more of the monsoonal moisture moves in for the weekend.
