A 7-Eleven store clerk in Spring Valley is recovering, after a robber hit him with a gun.
San Diego County Sheriff deputies responded to a robbery at the convenience store on Jamacha Blvd. Wednesday at 3:30 a.m.
Investigators say the robber hit the clerk with the gun and fired shots into the ceiling.
The suspect left with an unknown amount of money, along with food and cigarettes.
