San Diego Chargers fans will get their chance this Sunday to scope out the best seats at Qualcomm Stadium before football season begins.
The Chargers will host a “Select-A-Seat Day” on Sunday from 8 a.m. to noon, the team announced.
Fans can enter Qualcomm Stadium through Gate C and then preview season seat locations available for the 2013 home games.
A variety of tickets in different price categories will be available for fans to purchase during the event, including a limited number of lower-level seats.
Many seats have just become available to the public following the team’s renewal and upgrade of current season ticket holders, the team announced in a media release.
Season ticket prices start at $39 per game, and special payment plans are available for all seating locations. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis on Sunday, so getting to the stadium early is important.
Fans who buy season tickets at Qualcomm during Select-A-Seat Day will get some swag, too, including a limited-edition Chargers Replica Micro-Helmet.

The first 100 people to buy season seats will also get a free commemorative trolley pass per seat for all home games. All new season ticket buyers will also be invited to one of two exclusive training camp practices.
During the event, Qualcomm Stadium will double as the finish line for the 3rd annual Kaiser Permanente “Bolt to the Q 5K” race, so runners will be crossing the finish line on the field as Chargers fans scope out seats.
