A woman has located a 71-year-old man who had been missing since Wednesday, according to the Sheriff’s department
The unknown woman observed Joe Elizondo at a bus station in Oceanside around noon Saturday,
Elizondo, who walked away from his home last week, was said to be confused and trying to buy a bus ticket to Northern California.
The woman began to assist Elizondo in purchasing a ticket when she located a phone number on him and called it, according to authorities.
Sometime after the family member was contacted Elizondo was returned home safely an in good health.
Elizondo, who may suffer from a mental disorder, had walked away from his home in the 300 block of Badillo Road in San Marcos on July 6, said authorities.
