San Diego Ranks #14 Best City in the Nation to Trick or Treat

A new list released by Zillow Thursday ranks San Diego at #14of the top 20 cities in the country to trick or treat. 

The list is part of Zillow's annual Trick or Treat Index. This year, San Francisco nabbed the #1 spot. 

Economists with Zillow use a wide array of criteria to make the list, such as where kids can get the best candy in the shortest amount of time.

The ranking uses three equally weighted variables: Zillow's median home value, housing density among single-family homes and share of population under 10 years old, the ages that kids are most likely to trick or treat.
