Set Your Clocks: Daylight Saving 2013 Ends Sunday

California and 47 other states gain an extra hour

Saturday evening is the night for setting your clock back one hour as Daylight Saving Time 2013 comes to an end.

Californians and residents of 47 other states will “fall back” one hour at 2 a.m. Sunday as Daylight Saving Time ends and the states move back to Pacific Standard Time.

Hawaii, much of Arizona and a few other U.S. territories do not observe Daylight Saving Time.

Along with clocks, fire officials and the Federal Emergency Management Agency are encouraging people to remember to change batteries in home safety devices.
