‘Salute to Service’ Fest Honors Military Families

    5 Falltacular Ways to Connect With Your Family

    San Diego military families: This Veterans Day is all about you.

    The 3rd annual Salute to Service Festival will take place on Monday, Nov. 11 from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. at the USS Midway Museum.

    The event will offer free food and entertainment with the gorgeous backdrop of the San Diego Bay. It’s all to celebrate the military families in our community.

    There will also be meet-and-greets with Olympic athletes and Trevor Davis, San Diegan who appeared on NBC’s hit show “The Voice.”

    Plus, don’t forget the giveaways. The biggest prizes this year: Trips for two to Hawaii and Mexico, and a trip for four to Florida.

    Admission is free for military members and their families. Just bring your military ID. The event is open to the general public with regular museum admission.
