San Diego police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred about a block away from San Diego State University.
Two men approached someone walking in the 4500 block of Athens Street just off College Avenue around 9:25 p.m. Monday.
The victim told officers one of the men had a handgun and stole two Samsung phones and an unknown amount of money.
Officers said the men, described as wearing dark hoodies, were last seen running southbound near Crawford High School.
No one was injured.
No arrests have been made.
