San Diego police have located a missing man with dementia who walked away from his Ocean Beach home Wednesday afternoon.
Police say the man walked away from his home on the 4600 block of Newport Avenue at around 4:30 p.m.
He was wearing a green shirt and a blue or grey checkered jacket, according to the San Diego Police Department.
At about 3 a.m. Thursday morning, SDPD said the man had been located and was safe.
