A two-car crash in Grant Hill Thursday afternoon involved a San Diego Police Department patrol car, the department said.
The crash happened near the intersection of 30th and L streets just after 4 p.m.
An officer and the driver of the other car involved were both taken to the hospital, according to SDDP.
The patrol car had visible damage to its passenger side and the other vehicle had damage to its front end.
