San Diego police launched an investigation Saturday morning after the body of a man was discovered in a drainage ditch in the Logan Heights area.
According to officials from the San Diego Police Department, the body was found around 10:15 a.m. in a ditch off National Avenue, between south 33rd Street and the Interstate 15 off-ramp.
Detectives are still investigating the death, but SDPD officials did say there appeared to be no suspicious trauma to the body. At thi time, officials believe the man died of natural causes, but the investigation is ongoing.
