Fire raced through a Rubio's Mexican Grill in Rancho Bernardo sending employees fleeing Sunday, firefighters said.
A gas line ruptured near the cooking area of the restaurant on Bernardo Center Drive. The flames spread to the attic. The employees got out safely, no one was hurt.
The fire caused about $10,000 in property damage and $10,000 in content damage.
